Maitripa College welcomes military-connected students! Both degree programs, Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies (MA) and Master of Divinity MDiv), are approved for Veteran Affairs (VA) educational benefits. If you are an eligible veteran or dependent, please contact the Registrar before registration so that your enrollment can be certified by the VA.
How to Use Your Veterans’ Education Benefits
The process for using your VA education benefits at Maitripa College is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:
- Apply for VA Education Benefits
If you have not already, apply online through the official U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website. You will need information about your military service history, personal details, and bank account information for direct deposit. - Receive Your Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
After submitting your application, the VA will send you a COE, which confirms your eligibility and the benefits you can receive. This typically takes several weeks. - Submit Documents to Our Office
Provide a copy of your COE and your DD-214 (if applicable) to the Maitripa College Office of the Registrar. - Complete Your Enrollment Certification
Before the start of each term, you must complete and return our Enrollment Certification Form to notify our office of your courses. We will then certify your enrollment with the VA.
