Schedule & Registration
Tuesdays, June 1, 8, 15, 22
Learn what tantra is, how it works, and why it is a powerful form of practice. Get a broad overview of tantra as practiced and understood within the Vajrayana Buddhism and Geluk school of Tibet. Discussion topics could include: how to integrate tantra with lamrim (stages of the path) meditation; how to engage in lower tantra practices; visualization, mantra, and relating to enlightened beings; clarifying common confusions and what tantra is and is not; and the nature of ethics, vows, and relationships to teachers within tantra systems. Participants are invited to bring their questions!
The course is offered tuition-free due to the kindness of past donors and the generous financial support of those able to contribute to the program costs and teacher offering today. We are grateful for everyone’s prayers, volunteer service, and donations in support of the continuity of studies and practices of dharma in our world and here at Maitripa College.
Teacher Carl Jensen, alum of Maitripa College (MDiv) and Board Certified Chaplain, is beloved for his warmth, integrity, and heartfelt rapport with students of all backgrounds, at any stage of their Buddhist exploration or practice path.
