Investigate the role of the teacher on the spiritual path: the need for a teacher, the qualities of teacher and student, and how to relate to a teacher. Michael earned a MA at Maitripa College and is completing a Masters in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy at PSU. The module will be taught via Zoom, and includes an interactive format. More About Discovering Buddhism at Maitripa College this Summer
Discovering Buddhism is a curriculum of 14 modules designed by the FPMT Education Department and taught by Registered Teachers in centers around the world, and through online and home study options. At Maitripa College, alumni Registered Teachers offer modules under the direction of Yangsi Rinpoche. In the summer of 2020, while our campus remains closed, three modules of Discovering Buddhism will be offered via online platforms.
